I spent a Christmas in Oz once. A very strange experience eating dinner in 35c rather than 35f.

It was way bizarre at 1st having lived in london all my life when 1st here 9 years ago! But now I just have to compensate by sticking another prawn on the BBQ and chugging more champagne!!!!!!

I felt the same as I grew up in Greece and got used to the cold and even snow if we got lucky and yet we are sweating like pigs here summer time during Xmas. Weird!!

the cold is overrated anyway Dalip snow on 24-25 Dec is great but after that i'll happily have 35 degrees and go for a swim in the south pacific

Sadly i can't make the 27th. My father would've been dead 4 years on that day and as my mother lives near us i'd rather she wasn't on her own. She still finds it difficult sometimes and i know she dreads this time of year.
Have more than a couple for me, fellas, and make sure you have a blast.
