I'm in any time....I have plenty of time I have to take off before I lose it with work....and I don't have to park, I'm taking the train.

Just give me a time, date, and place, I'll be there!!

Ok guys ... I want to set up a tentative list as I look for a good (but not too expensive) sushi place for us to meet.

So far we have:

1) Me
2) Dan
3) Howard (via email)
4) Alex
5) Justin
6) Gus

.... maybe I should start a new thread once a location is decided for others who may want to join in.

I found a place but the maximum reservation I could get was for 6 people which we have already.

The place is called SushiSamba. It's on Park Ave for 7:30 pm.

So, if more people want to come the location will have to change.

It might be a good idea to start another thread and ask if anyone else wants to come. However, if this is all that is able to make it we can start with a small group of 6.

Nice choice Pav. I frequent their 7th Ave south location...but even there it's not that "roomy".

So is this a definite? SushiSamba on Park Ave on 10/19 at 7:30pm? Please confirm

Yes, I will do that later Alex.

If its just 6 of us we can it do here... otherwise I have to find somewhere else.

On page 1 of this thread I said I would probably come. Your list of 6 doesn't have my name. Thats OK, I will pass. Next time.

Thanks,
Ken

I have never been to the one on 7th Avenue but this one is at moderate sized... But it tends to get crowded which I believe is why I could not get a table for more than 6. I will start a new thread later to see if more people want to come.

SO THIS IS TENTATIVE PENDING FURTHER RESPONSES!!!

Sorry I missed your post Ken .... please join us!

Anyway, I am going to start a new thread later to get a final tally of who's coming. It will likely need to be at an alternate sushi spot.

Looking forward to it!

If it's more than 6, maybe Japonica? We can get a reservation there, I'm sure. Ken, definitely come!

Do we have to do Sushi? The bill might be a nightmare at the end of the night splitting. Anyone up for steak or maybe italian? I know of a great italian place that has a quite upstairs with great lighting to capture the shine off our watches. Here is the link.

Just putting it out there.

Alex, that is totally fine with me...we should start a new thread and get a head count .

Sushi would probably be better for mini GTG and this is getting bigger.

I think you are right. Do you want to start the thread? I am pretty new here and perhaps more people wouldnfeel more comfortable attending from an established member. Let me know.
