I am impressed, I thought I'd be greatly outnumbered.

Something about the non-date looks so bold and reflective, cant quite put my finger on it.

Same here. Non date Sub is the watch I would get or a SD.

Loads of us on here prefer the Sub rather than the Sub Date. Took me a year to decide between them, but have never regretted getting mine without the date....It's just a classic look, clean and uncluttered.

No, you are not. I don't particularly care for the date feature or need it. I own a calendar.

No, I own a 16710 but in my mind the 14060 is almost the perfect watch, Everthing a watch should be with nothing extra. I wish Rolex would give it a SEL bracelet and offer an all gold model. To me if you own more than one date watch It's gotta be pain to keep all the dates current.

Love the clean look. It took me years to cross over to the cyclops. Air King, Sub ND, Sea-dweller, and then finally... finally a cyclops. Life is full of compromises.

Intellectually, the idea of having the date on a watch sounds like a really good idea as I often can't remember the date. In practice, it doesn't matter as there is always a calendar or someone to tell me. I do think the cyclops spoils the look of the Sub Date and I also prefer the look with the date but no cyclops. For simple beauty and style it is hard to beat the 14060 however.

I love most of the subs. I own four, I did own the new sub, it drove me nuts (felt wrong on my wrist) I sold it one month into it. I love the classic sub and I love ny ND sub as well. Newer is not all ways better.

If I could change one thing about the 14060 it would be SEL the old style rattles like a VW auto. Drives me mad at times.

No, you`re not!
I was (and still I am) HUGE cyclops fan, but there is SOMETHING about No Date Sub that is simply mesmerizing!
