Close call, but I vote for the Sub C because between the two, the GMT's bezel looks like it's a bit too busy.

personally, i would prefer GMT-C as it has an extra function...
How many of us use the diving capability of the Sub-C anyway? |

Between these two it's the Sub C for me too, bezel more balanced to the eye and clean glidelock bracelet with no PCL....I do prefer the newer cases on both though ....

I'd go for the Sub-C, because I'm not a fan of PCL's.

Busy bezel

I try and choose a watch based on how looks and to my wallet. I don't really need the GMT function and believe most who buy the GMT don't really use it just as those who buy a Daytona don't buy it because of its chronograph function. |

I own the GMTIIC and love it to bits. But if I were to buy my first Rolex, I would have got the SubC.
But as others have said, the GMT is a dressier watch. I do like how it looks with my suit on. |

GMTIIC gets my vote. I like the the extra function and the bit of color that the green hand adds to the watch.

This Sub C, you can time your luch break, how long you had a shower, how long you stay in the loo
I find it better looking the Sub C black then GMT IIC. IHMO you may like them both, but you can't go wrong with Sub C black, and Sub got more votes right?Wich make it a winner. |
