For me, simplicity and the strapchanging experience.... buy 2 straps, and you have 2 different watches .... :)

I love the heritage of the brand. Alomg with the clean and uncluttered dials (well most).

Truly unique design, Interesting brand history, Super easy to read, Strap versatility is great fun and one watch does feel like multiples w/ each different strap.

That gold Rad is timeless and simply gorgeous!! You don't see the gold versions very often, but a gold Rad is truly exceptional- and I typically don't care for any gold watch.

The presence, the history, and the fact that aren't really a 'household' name yet. Also because of pics like this:

love it! love it! love it!

The beauty just keep on increasing everyday, unlike other brands, some are beautiful at first sight but as days goes by it goes ugly, but Panerai keeps on going beautiful everyday in my eyes. I don't know why but it's true!

same reason as Rolex

They made a perfect tiemless design

A sub looked good in 1960, looks good today and will look good in 2060

Just the same can be said about the Luminor or Radiomir

Have to say, was a rolex owner for years, got a few PAMs, traded back to rolex, back to panerai, back to rolex, and now am going to Panerai for good this time...size is great, everyone and their brother is either sporting a rolex or replica, I like the idea of something different, and the size is perfect for my 7.5 inch wrists...the rolexes look too small for me, and I had the deep sea for a month, beautiful looking, but very uncomfortable on every level for me. I am back to Panerai for good!

Hahaha! Greg, you should've just kept some of each. Panerai does a great job of simple ruggedness, but I like wearing a watch that fits under my cuff. Hence, daytona on the weekdays, and 005 logo on the weekends. Perfect!

I'm getting older, so are my eyes. Easy to read, and I like the look of them. ( not all, but many of them).
Plus I like a leather strap occassionally.

Have I mentioned that the brace was the best deal I got all year? Seriously- less than $10- at Abercrombie & Fitch....

I bellieve it to be a great watch company, with a great traditon. The other great appeal is that they are totaly different from what I already own. I like a bit of variety and many different options.

I love the design and the straps! I can also wear the watch without people judging me. I wore my Rolex to work one day and somebody saw it and then the comments flew. People were wondering how I could afford such an expensive watch. I always have to hide any luxury items from them. I have to park my car at the bottom of the garage and leave last, so they do not see my car. When they have company dinners I drive my old 4Runner. With the Panerai, I can wear it to work and nobody there recognizes the brand. I typically wear it on the weekends, but I also like to wear it on Fridays.

Becuase of its clean historic & timeless dial no other watch can match. It just sings to me...over and over and over again
