Yeah, I was aware of this, but only after my authorised dealer had agreed to get new dials in for me to look at. I discovered the information on here. I'm still impressed though - Paul phoned them and was able to talk with a lady who agreed to screen all the dials for me and sent only the ones that met my criteria. In fact, they only had to send one dial in - and it was the dial that I've gone for. :D |

Very nice dial, almost looks like meteorite due to the single pearl white colour. Very cute watch well suited for a girl with Anne Hathaway's skin tone.

Anna Hathaway is stunning, and almost certainly paler than me - or I'm more 'yellow' perhaps. I really like the meteorite dials a lot! I love their straight lines and hatch look, but have unfortunately never seen one in person, only on here. They're lovely though. I wouldn't have thought of a link between my mother-of-pearl and the meteorite but I am a fan of natural things. :D |

So have you chosen your next one yet? It rarely stops with one.

No I haven't! Hahaha. And honestly - currently I feel that this is my only. It IS my dream watch. And I certainly can't afford another any time soon. But regardless of that, it's not about the money - I am satisfied.
Now, if Rolex started doing skeletonised watches, that would be another thing entirely. ^^ |

I just wanted to add some pictures, taken in the murky 'daylight' that it currently is here in England, on a cloudy day when the sun is on its way down.
I took them inside, but standing next to doors/windows - I didn't particularly want to actually go outside - it's cold! Lydia. |

Lydia, your watch is beautiful and I love the variations you can get with a MOP dial and with the diamonds it looks complete. I collect pocket knives made by W.R.Case & Sons and love the ones with handles made from all the different types of MOP.....

I can see what appear to be goose bumps on your wrist so it must be cold
Anyway the thrill of a new dial, its like getting a whole new watch, the dial to me is one of the most important aspects of watch attraction to me. If the dial doesn't do it for me then its simple......I wont wear it. Thus, you need to have that attraction to the dial in the first place. After that, the mechanical qualities in Rolex are a given. Its a lot of money to spend so why shouldn't you get a dial that you will feel a joy to look at. No one wants to look at an unappealing dial on their wrist all day, at least I wont stand for that. About 1 year ago, I had my then favorite watch put in for a new crystal. When I got it back I later discovered 3 hairs sitting on the dial, the case and the crystal scratched. Although it may seem like a small thing.............I haven't worn that watch since. Watches are an emotional experience.
