Congrats on your new watch!! I bought my first Daytona a few months ago and was afraid to wear it too-it was too perfect to mess up in anyway! So at first I wore it only sporadically, and carefully, and it still collected scratches (argh!!). Once I got over that and basically said screw it, I bought it to wear, I actually started to love the watch more than I did at the beginning when it was "perfect". So I urge you to wear it everyday, but don't worry if it takes you some time to get to that point. Developing a relationship with your watch is a personal and enjoyable process.

Wear it everyday, in a couple of months, it will just be a watch, but a great one that will give you pleasure every day.

Thanks Alcan! I'll try to add what I have now and will add better quality pics in a bit.

Is it wrong that I'm already looking at a second Rolex? I love the sub but the new gmt also speaks to me.

It's not wrong, in fact it's almost required. When the bug bites, you become infected.

Congrats on your 16610! It is a classic and I wear mine all the time.

Just be careful wearing it to work. Just a few weeks ago someone made a comment about my watch and something about his tax dollars on my wrist. I juat smiled and asked if he owned a home and lived in the city where I work. He said "no" and I just laughed and said not to worry about it. It was a very long conversation)

It was a long conversation and he ended up saluting me the bird. I have a strong feeling I will be seeing him again!
