With no disrespect and to put it as nicely as possible, I don't care for any TT models-- to me, it just comes off as unnecessarily showy for a Rolex sport watch (a watch that's supposed to serve a particular, practical purpose). I also feel rather "ho-hum" about the Explorer II.

My least favorite is the Explorer 1. It's hardly a sports model to me. Still not a bad watch though.

Not to diss anyone but I don't really understand all gold sports watches. Two tone is versatile so I get that, but to me the whole point of a rolex sports watch is so you can wear it all day every day and beat the crap out of it, I would be too nervous to do that with all gold. Just my personal preference though, they are still beautiful. When I get a solid gold watch it will be a day-date.

I would like the Milgauss if it weren't for that silly lightning bolt.

I would wear a gold sports model every day and beat the crap out of it... patina... nice.

just a little too much flash for me... gold gmt with green face... I would if I was not in sales

milg and ym are my least favorite... I have owned both and will not again

The "3," "6," and "9" on the Explorer seem out of keeping with the watch's simplicity and minimalism; I'd prefer plain indices.

Same with the lightning bolt on the Milgauss and the date and cyclops on a Sub.

Easily the Yachtmaster. Pretentious name combined with unattractive dial designs takes the day.

Now, I have thought on this again, and am thinking that perhaps this 'sports model', would be the least appealing of all... http://elitechoice.org/2009/07/13/th...es-to-impress/

YG YM II for me. All the rest of the sport models I'd happily own and wear. Well, except for some diamond encrusted ones

I love most of them and I like them all.....

And although I really like the LV Milgauss with the black dial, my least favorite sport Rolex watch (for what it's worth) is probably the Milgauss with the white dial....and who knows, that watch might just be the next most collectable....

GMTIIc.....mostly for what it represents compared to the classic...I just can't warm up to the PCLs, the green instead of red, the shiny bezel, the bezel font, the extra wide lugs (in aviation, aerodynamics and elegant design count for something).

As far as some of the others mentioned in this thread....

The YM2 is out there, especially with the vulgar (IMHO) bezel, but, the price is so extreme, it's tough for me to say it's a "sports" model. More of a novelty.

I think of the Milgauss as a hybrid and not a "sports" model.

Sub Date. Too common, never cared for it.

Many are saying the Milgauss. The Milgauss is not considered a sports watch.

I just don't get the YM, or the YM2 for that matter. Not really into the new square ones either.

It's considered a sports watch in Vintage Rolex Sports Models (Skeet and Urul).

Deepsea.

Over-engineered, too thick, looks like a clock strapped to the wrist. All that writing around the dial - is this a watch or a mission statement?

YG YM2 for sure, to busy and ugly IMHO. From what I've heard they don't sell to many either. Don't mind the platinum version though!

the thought of beating the crap out of a Rolex of any kind, makes my skin crawl... I wear a YG Daytona every day for 3 years... it looks like as new as any steel watch...
