Thanks for the beautiful pics. With the exception of no trip lock crown, I think Rolex hit this one out of the park.

TRF For sale section: One SS Daytona White Faced, full box and papers, three years old lovingly cared for. Priced for a quick sale so I can get the new EXP II 42 MM.
Wait... I can't sell my Daytona.... Can I afford to buy the EXP II without selling it though? I wonder how much can I get for a kidney these days? |

I love the proportions of the case, i dont think its going to feel that blocky/chunky even at 42mm. The step from case to the bracelet seems more fluid and will be an improvement on the Maxi Case used on Subs and GMT.
will be speaking to my AD ASAP to view it, how long does it take to get from Basel to AD in the UK???

well, the "his" line has three right now and "her" line has two, so, in the meantime, convince her she needs one. bump her line up to three and then you're good to go! |

I don't think 2 mm is the end-of-the-world that some people are making it out to be. It's only 2mm. :) I think Rolex is trying to distinguish the Explorer II from the GMT, which seems like a good idea for a watch that did not sell well (even if I love mine). I even wore my Explorer II today, in honor of it's new cousin being displayed.

This is true but she has an eye on a Patek! Talk about good taste but certainly not good for my pocketbook!

I love the orange. It will be easier to see than the green on the GMT IIC.
