I've had the GMT C and yes it's a stunning watch but for me the polished centre links proved a nightmare with scratches. I know you can't stop this but i tried my hardest to prevent as many as i could, i never felt relaxed with it on.
I would go for the new SUB C, no polished links so it's a great sturdy day to day watch that you can just wear and enjoy. It also depends on what you do day to day? I own a cleaning company so my watches can get knocked from time to time so the SUB C is perfect for my needs. Oh even though i can't swim in my profession it even gets wet most of the time? not quite 300ft lol. I would look at your life style and go with your heart as they are both stunning watches. |

Just save up and get both. Similar in many ways, but different enough to justify getting each.

Between the 2 the Sub did it for me. Good luck with your decision. You will enjoy it either way !!!

I don't care for the PCL's on the GMT. SubC for me. As one user said, the polished links get scratched up.

Both are nice and I flip flop on which one I like more. Last week I would have taken the GMT, but I actually just was at my AD today and tried both on and liked the Subc more. The reason why I'm now leaning towards the sub is that I liked the brushed bracelet, glidelock clasp and bezel function.
