One more thing, serial stems are hard to identify depending on it's maturation rate and date. Here's how you can accurately determine how vintage it may be.

Number 7 has a really nice patina.

How often should my banana be serviced?

Should I be concerned that there is no hang tag with my banana?

Will my date make fun of me to her friends if she finds me washing my banana in the kitchen sink as we prepare to go out?

So what is everyone's opinion on modifying your banana? Do you think this covering will chip? Can these be serviced?

Greg, I have an original box if you're interested?

I might even have a couple of spare peels laying around.

They sure can! However, be aware that the BSC (Banana Service Center) will polish it back to it's standard look - meaning, they'll remove that PVD coating.

You should become a purist and not mod at all.

That's a Cuban thing.... I do love fried bananas, but not sure if it would devaluate my Chiquita.

Sigh....

All of you... and I mean ALL of you... Need intense therapy.... I'm serious..

Am I the ONLY one in this forum that is consistently professional and serious? Never making ridiculous and funny threads or posts? Well, I guess the answer is yes....

Sigh.... It's lonely trying to act mature and cooth with so many hoodlums and stooges in my midst....
