When a person registered, can't we track the person through the IP address that is linked with the registration? I know it is but just one of the things that can be done. This sucks and to have it associated with England! Damn you!

Unfortunately we do not have an IP address to identify the location of the seller.
The proper course is now vigerous and unrelenting pursuit through bank/police channels to recover the moneys so paid and the prosecution of the seller.

No lawyer here but ... To me the bank by reducing staff and allow "machines" to wire money around the globe could have some responsibility in this .
I doubt that the money will still be sitting in the account allowing a reversal . Not wanting to rub salt in MILFAN's wound , but for those that have seen the evidence will agree with me that spending 15 minutes checking the info provided by the seller before wiring the money would have been enough to walk away from the deal .

What a piece of trash. If I ever got scammed I think I would become temporarily depressed. We all work very hard and save up, if I lost my money and got no rolex, I don't even want to think about it. We have to be very, very careful.
This turd ruins it for anyone who isn't a regular seller. If I wanted to sell something here, I have no selling references, just purchases, so it would be hard because of instances like this. Just bullshit. Pardon my language but it makes me so upset. |

Sorry if i missed it
Milfan - sorry if you already said you have but have you reported this to the Police yet? It is vital that you do to stand any chance of tracking this guy.
We have access to a lot of information and tricks up our sleeves that arent widely known. By all means do your own detective work but leave the important stuff to the Police........... otherwise you are wasting precious time. Afterall, what will you do if you find this guy? even if he is a guy? it could be part of organised crime and if it is you would be crazy to try and get involved in apprehending this 'character'. contact me if you need any further advice - its free. |

Milfan As you have referred to me on this thread I'd just like to state that I have never met or spoken to Mike UK. My status as a friend is a result of some PM contact regarding a trade which did not materialize. And I have been slow to respond to your PM as I have been in the UK on a business trip since last week.
Good luck in resolving your issue. Kevin

first post, sorry its in such a negative thread,
i hope you manage to resolve this! he says he bought the milgauss March 2011, the exif data on his photos of the Milgauss dates them at 2010-05-06 06:12:49, he says he gets his watches from Watches of Switzerland, Bond St, London might be worth seeing if they sold one of this model around this time? best left to the police really. |
