I could post some if people really wanted to see, but I doubt it. You'll see a bunch if you search "chess stamps" on ebay.

I got into it more because I love chess. One day I saw a couple of stamps and, not being a stamp collector, incorrectly assumed I could easily collect everything that was available. I gave up after I collected 600+ stamps.

There seems to be a leaning amongst a lot of members to team their Rolexes with sharp pointy things and boom-boom sticks!

As well as my swords I have a few shotguns/rifles.

I mostly collect watches and firearms, but I deal in antiquities and estate liquidation. It seems that most of the folks on this forum would be my key customer base.

Don't forget to give me a call when all those bills are paid up and you guys need more toys!

I'm with you Tom. I bought a Rolex because I'm done collecting watches. I just want one all around beater (Sea-Dweller) and one G for the gym. (though I do have a dress watch ) The other watches are all on the chopping block. I'll probably keep a couple sell a few and give a few away. I still want a platinum DD, so I'm not out of the woods yet. I want to put it on a strap and wear it as my dress watch.
As I get a little older, I like the idea of having large piles of Benjamins more than piles of other stuff. I used to be a car guy, now I'm moving away from that as well. I'm just glad the silliness ran it's course while I was still in my 30's.(barely). It bodes well for my early retirement.
My only real extravagance is my house.

I only have one Rolex at the moment but I am looking to start a collection as the years go by.

My other passion is luxury travel. So I also collect first and business class boarding card stubs.
