I have several Invicta's and I love them. I have had 0 problems with them and they use an ETA movement that seems to be a workhorse. I can wear them in places where I wouldn't wear my Rolex because of fear of damage... race track, working in the garage, etc. I tend to be pretty rough on watches. I seem to bang every doorway and wall I walk past when I am wearing my "nice" watches.

I enjoy talking watches with people, even if they collect on a different level than myself, whether it be them collecting Gshocks or Pateks. You just have to respect someone that is interested in watches these days.

Happens to me all the time. I will go to a meeting see what I think is a Sub and then I find that I have been Invicted!

My father has admired my SS white face Daytona ever since I purchased it. He is retired and really doesn't leave the house much, but I inherited his love of watches. This past Christmas I gave him an Invicta Speedway which looks very similar to the Daytona. He knows it is not a Daytona and doesn't care, he loves the watch and rarely takes it off. Invicta is a great watch for what it is, an inexpensive time piece that has good value.

I have not been faked out by an Invicta. But I went to WatchFinder in Yorkville (Toronto Area) and they sell authentic Rolex's. The lady asked me to see my watch, I was wearing my Invicta 8926C. She took a 16610 out of the display case and she showed me them side by side. I should of snapped a picture. She told me it was a great purchase, for a young Rolex lover.

Dunno if its true .. but I've read that Rolex and Invicta came to an agreement by which Invicta could continue to produce and sell coin edge divers that resemble the sub in exchange for Rolex borrowing Invicta's signature polished center link.

Yep. A postal worker almost got me with an Invicta "116610 clone." However, when I got within 5 feet of it (I blame my bad vision), it was pretty obviously not a Rolex.

my problem with Invicta is that they make so many models that it's hard to tell which ones are the "good" ones. They have Prodivers that go from $60 (and look and feel VERY cheap) to models that are a few hundred dollars, have decent movements and feel very solid, and have saphire or "flame fusion" crystals.
So if anyone knows which models are the high quality ones, I'd love a quick list. |

Invicta 8926 Pro Diver w/coin edge bezel. I didn't like the PCL's so I brushed the bracelet. It keeps great time & it does get mistaken for a Submariner. All in all a pretty good watch for $100.00.

Hello, I just said that in my post, Rolex was officially first with the Turn O Graph which was used as a dive watch. I just hate it when other watch companies copy Rolex watches it is sickening.

Invictas are cool. There's no excuse for people who buy fake Rolexes anymore. I've heard the excuse; "I'm going to buy a fake Submariner. I like the design but can't afford a real one." Simple answer - Buy an Invicta you fool! If everyone knew about them there'd be less market for fakes to people who "would never pay for a real Rolex."

I'd have quite a collection of them going by now. Had I known about them as a young man...younger man ;)

Yes, a couple weeks ago I complemented the restaurant host and asked if I could see his watch closer. He looked down at my watch and thanked me and said his was an Invicta. I still complemented him on a great looking watch.

Yes, I was faked out by an Invicta once. For some reason I thought it was a GMT II-c

we used ship out some place in florida for it to be fixed .. and yes i would never ever wear a invicta.. after working for them they truly are made cheap.... |

Invicta does make a very nice watch for the pricepoint.
