Hi, how about the watch that wears the SS jubilee bracelet that you bought from me last year. It was sent up to my AD in Birmingham from Rolex in St Jame's Square London when I bought it originally.
Regards,
Peter

I would go 16713 only because everyone is wearing SS in London these days. Set your own trends.

I'm envious of you. London is wonderful when the winter grayness finally lifts. The city is going to be decked out. Hell, I like it even when it's gray.

I voted for the TT Datejust. A great watch to take on vacation.

There seems to be some confusion; the watches in question are both GMT's. One is a SS 16700 Pepsi and the other is a TT 16713 GMT II on an oyster bracelet.

Getting down to the wire...here the finalists are...

It was hard to decide to just take one watch. I love strolling about with a nice vintage Omega Constellation Pie Pan on thru the old city as well. The one watch for all requirement made a Rolex the only choice...just which one

Steve......I like them both (I have a 16700 and the ceramic GMT TT). I voted the TT as you don't wear it much here, and seeing your side by side pic, I definitely say the TT GMT!

Now remember, when you are there.....PICS OR IT DIDN"T HAPPEN!

Enjoy your trip,

Nathan

The TT. But don't forget to take along the rouge cloth to keep it shined up really good.

For enquiring minds who what to know.. I went with the 16713 TT GMT(thanks for all the commentary)and it fits in perfectly here at my hotel (The Savoy). I get to London from Heathrow via Padding ton express and then take the underground ( Circle line) to get to my hotel. I did notice quite a few people eyeing my wrist on the underground to the point I felt ever so slightly uncomfortable

I will only take ONE watch.....and I am torn between SS GMT 16700 (daily wearer), and a TT 16713. I love the stainless and have the option to take/use a jubilee as well as the oyster with the 16700 but London has a bit more formality in the air, esp with the wedding, and the TT may be a bit more appropriate and fun. The 16713 gets no wrist time at home.

The trip, as always, involves the front of the airplane, some nice hotels/restaurants, lots of museums and just strolling through the old city. I am not worried about strong arm robbery and the watch only leaves my wrist for the safe in the room.

Suggestions?

Actually I had eggs benedict for breakfast...while adoring my 116713..
