YG. I caught the YG bug recently LOL
The only WG that is acceptable for me is the WG blue subc as it looks classy but I think that is mostly due to it being the only blue sub in that colour combination making me feel this way. As a comparison I can't really tell the difference between a SS and WG when I was looking at pics of a WG Daytona listed in the sales forum. Although the Daytona is WG I don't feel that its as special as the WG blue subc. |

I really like the Rose gold, it is classy and a little understated compared to Yellow gold.
I tried on a Rose Gold Daytona and was very impressed. 1.Rose 2.Yellow 3.White

Everose/RG of course, according to latest watchtime YG is dead due to asian market, and to me YG's to pimpy or to much granddad. WG doesn't sing to me either since it looks like steel and have the downsides of being heavier and more prone to get dents due to its softer
Having said all that I still might get a YG/WG watch just because the overall-look of the watch... that's more important I think |

RG would be my first choice followed by YG. Not a fan of the WG look.

YG, WG then RG. Interestingly, I loved the RG Daytona, until I tried one on.......the RG colour of the watch somehow clashed with my skin complection. I am a ranga BTW Freckles and all.....
IMHO 22k YG looks great on Indians with their darker skin complection Rob

YG, to me WG is a waste of money to be honest, just have a SS polished.

yellow gold, no doubt. And not necessarily solid gold. Many of the old gold-filled Elgins and Bulovas from the 30s and 40s still have no brassing. These watches have 100 micron thick gold casings which are almost as durable as solid gold.
Also, yellow gold looks great with SS. I would guess the best selling Rolexes are gold/ss. |

White gold. More subtle and stealthy. After that, I prefer rose for its uniqueness. Like another poster - platinum would be my first choice of all metals.

Totally depends on the watch for me. The only modern Daytona that interests me comes in white gold. If it had the same dial in SS however, Id be happy with it. A DD, I think should be yellow...just my thought though.

I think WG and SS suits men, but the others suit women better.

That's because you're comparing two different watches in your picture. If you compare a WG and SS Daytona, they are virtually identical in look. I can only tell the difference if they are side by side up close. However, if I find it next to impossible to tell if it's on someone's wrist. Gotta look at the dial to give me a hint. Weight wise, no comparison of course....gold rules
