Logical??? In which aspect? The stainless steel that Rolex uses is 904L its pretty high grade industrial steel... Are you worried about rust and acid pitting, that the old school ones get?... I personally think the murdered out (slang for all blacked out, for you old folks ) ones look pretty sick dude! I saw a kid with a GMTIIc that was all murdered out! It looked really chill! I would do it to a beater 16800 suby and slap on a black Nato... Hmmm... I may just do that!... Do whatever you like. Who cares what other people think. Its your money and your watch.

I would never do it to a Rolex..
I think they look MUCH better just the way they come.
I do like the look on some other watches. Mainly Panerai. Just doesn't look right on Rolex IMO. But it's your watch so whatever suits your taste. |
