If I had that sort of money to spend myself it would be a vintage sport piece Double Red or part payment toward a Comex 1665 or maybe a 6263 Daytona. |

I also like those vinatge pieces of John Ireland.A Vintage gold cased, leather strapped DD,may be an option price wise.I think the black dialed, gold hour markers, gold case, with black leather strap is exceptional !!

Yes, The Daytona is nice but I tried on a GMT 11 gold ingot last week at my AD and I would pick that as number one.

Nice choice Larry!
I'd go for this one, which I already went for The all gold is incredible however, but too much bling for me for now. Sincerely Sune |

Excellent choice...couldnt agree more I think the TT is a nice accent. The Gold watches are too much for me(maybe when I retire )...although the GMT II Anniv. gold with the green dial is very nice.

I would love a brand new TT GMT II, TT Sub Blue, DD, and Milgauss. That's it.
Oh btw tomorrow's my b'day so if anyone wants to send any of those, I would welcome wholeheartedly. |

Very, very , very rare and desirable. Quote:
I know someone that has one, as described above, BUT definitely NOT FOR SALE. Now that would be six figures! Picking just one would be hard, but either a MilSub 5513/5517 (dual marked), Red PN, 6541 or 6543 Milgauss. Better still, Han Wilsdorf's personal everyday watch. Now that would be cool. John. |

Well it certainly would not be a modern Rolex although could be tempted with a Daytona 6263 style dial bezel with the Rolex in-house movement. But my favourite watch has got to be the Rolex Prince from the late 1930s early 1940s pref a doctor style dial like the 1608,and pref SS, and definitely not a modern pretender. But if forced to would have a silver or TT,although not a huge fan of any precious metal watches.
