Take it to a pawn shop and see what they will give you for it. Dont even tell them you think it might be fake. Tell them you need a loan for like 2k. If you take to an AD they are going to charge you a couple hundred bucks to open it. Most pawn brokers can spot a fake a mile away.

BTW I always thought 118238 have the new solid clasp and solid middle link but I can see the pic on the OP looks like the old clasp. How can someone tell if a 118238 is the one with all the updates (solid non stamped clasp and solid middle link)? What year period did all the updates come in? |

I saw identical looking certificate on some of the for sale post. They also covered few numbers on the left top corner.
Thanks everyone. I am really happy, although I'm not a gold kinda guy. Would have preffered SS daytona, but being a racer, I want to win it, not buy it. |
