Makes sense to me...
I spoke to one of the owners the day I ordered mine, he told me that they spent a year and a half developing them with a swiss manufacturer,, that could be why the price is a bit higher than we'd expect...[/QUOTE]
A year to make a Rolex and a year and a half to make the rubber strap for it. |

Um, a year and a half to develop them, not make them. And it does NOT take Rolex a year to make a watch. |

I prefer the look of the Isofrane rubber strap.......more sporty & with those slots/holes it's got some
"breathing"vents! a plus: it's US$109. delivered.....vs. US$220. (? delivery charges?) & then.............................................. ......................................w/ the Iso, you get a buckle free, on the strap! you have to dis-assemble the bracelet even more, for the clasp....unless you want to buy another clasp set up from Rolex(is that possible?), after you dis-assembled more to take the bracelet off the watch........bah humbug....I'll settle for a NATO strap, less cost....& I'll use the balance to buy good gin, vermouth & olives!

It blends in on certain models for sure.
I like it but is a little pricey. |

yes i saw this as well and i will echo the over priced comment. Also one must us "tools" to switch from Rubber B to the bracelet as you need to remove the first link on the 6 oclock side, that meens you need to use locktite etc.... I don't know about you guys but I put a rubber strap on in a week or so I may want to switch to a nato or back to the bracelet. Seems like a lot of work, that is unless you have an extra clasp.

Very nice
I would love to try one of these and I think it looks great for a everyday wear 14060 Sub. My only hesitation is the $220 price tag!
It is more expensive than the oem replacement strap I bought for my AP Diver. |

I was referring to their pics from their site, the high def versions are available on jake's rolex blog to see them better. Mine aren't proffesional just iPhone pics. Here's the clasp shots for the person who asked for them..

Rubber is extremely comfortable. Having a strap that looks integrated into the watch as it fill the entire space between the lugs is nice.
The price is reasonable for that feature. I recently purchased a $200 rubber strap for an Omega Planet Ocean. If Rolex sold them they would cost on the order of $450. Looks good, but........ I am just used to my Rolex watches on a bracelet. That and the Rolex bracelet is comfortable. I don't think I want to go there. However, it sure would look bad ass on my Seadweller, hmmmm.

I must say, I'm interested, but I'd rather get another clasp so I don't have to take it apart all the time.
It would be prefect for lug hole models. Hmmm.....

these things look nice, i'm sure they are well made and folks who own them would recommend to others. spending $250 to secure a Rolex and being comfortable whilst do so seems reasonable, having said this- i would never spend $250 on a plastic/rubber strap- NATO's are more secure, probably more comfortable and cost 1/25-1/50...

I just need to source a spare clasp I do wonder how it will wear (center) on my wrist as it's only 6.8 in

Still I'll try it if I can source a real clasp without spending an arm and a leg.

Just get a aftermarket clasp. You already have it on an aftermarket rubbah!
