Just wondering, do you guys use the Rolex crown as reference? I find it snug when it's the right way up!

No......The coronet on the crown does NOT have any bearing to a sealed crown position!

Never screw it down ! all watches run better when the movement breathes, just remember to tighten it before it is exposed to water.

I screw it until the immense pressure begins to crack the crystal on the crown side.
