Thanks everyone!
QUOTE]Both really nice, if you don't mind me asking roughly what does a VC like that cost? [/QUOTE] The VC Dual time is the more entry level model so its not as pricey as their "truely high end" dress watches but like Rolex, Vacheron hve had some hefty price increases this year. In the UK the VC Dual time retails at £12,140 - Watches of swizerland have one in stock and would accept £11,500 cash which is a pretty stingy discount tbh - they argue they only get 2 in stock per year. I bought mine whilst on holiday in singapore from the vacheron boutique and due to a strong pound at the time paid less than retail :) The VC is a nice watch and very comfortable on the wrist, the fit and finishing of case and bracelet is impressive. I like that the sub is instantly recognisable while not many people seem to know what VC is. I walked into a rolex AD Ernest Jones in Birmingham to enquire about the new explorer 2, the salesman asked what make the Dual time was and he had never heard of Vacheron Constantin...slightly concerning but i guess that is what happens in the large chain AD's - the staff generally know little about the fine time pieces they sell, let alone what all the watch brands are.... A nice salesperson in ernest jones once said my 14060M maybe a fake because "Subs usually have date bubbles on them".. perhaps he was new!!!! im no expert but sheeesh lol |

Beautiful VC, I am trying not to look at it too much so that I don't start a new obsession.
Greetings from the nether reaches of the UK. |

The assistants you've met at Ernest Jones sound like absolute freak's and it's irritating that these people have no product knowlege. |
