Hard to believe GMT owners are just now finding out about this amazingly useful feature offered by the rotating bezel.

Once in a while. Usually to time when the parking meter is about to expire.

The gmt really is useful in so many ways. I'm glad you finally "discovered" it...

I use it sometimes, pretty convenient. Although the sub, daytona, and ym are much more accurate in that regard.

gmt users should also be aware that the bi-colored bezel provides a quick visual reference for fifteen minute and thirty minute lapses - as is the case when i run.

Of course, why wouldn't I? Actually I use it more than I thought I might. Even on the IIC it's still accurate enough.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain it in more detail?

Or if you know you need to do something in 20 minutes, you can put the triangle 20 minutes ahead of the current time. When the minute hand reaches the triangle, you know it's time to do whatever you need to do. Works great though not as precise as the Sub since the triangle only has 24 positions on the GMTIIC. However, if you need THAT much precision then you probably need a Daytona....... |

I use it sometimes.
Its too unprecise for minutes, like previous mentioned eggs and tea, but when I start an 1 hour laundry, parking etc, its just fine. |
