$4500 for a pre-owned Submariner is reasonable and you shouldn't have a problem finding one in that price range. Good luck.

That watch will last you a life time, figure out the cost after you've had it for 25 years, it's peanuts. Try doing that for a car, who keeps a 4500 car for 25 years. That's my .05 cents

Well Herb, they are probably correct... it is sort of crazy..
It is even crazier after you buy your second, your third and so on.. I really enjoy my watches. I like the fact that I have a fine watch on and most of the pubic out there does not know what it is. It is also fun to see some of the eyes follow your wrist. I like my Rolexes and plan on buying more. take a look at the 16600 SeaDweller.. I like mine better than my Sub but I still want a Red Sub someday... welcome to the crazyness... |

You know better than to trust your co-workers...or their opinions regarding your desires and fancies.
I bought my first (and only, so far) Rolex (sub date 16610) at the tender age of 41 - basically about 2 months ago - after a lifetime of loving watches, and of course Rolex as well. I don't regret it at all - and neither will you. Do it - and laugh off the co-workers - those who do not tell you it's awesome and congratulations, are not really friends anyway. Now the question becomes date... or no date?
I preferred the non-date and cleaner 2 lined dial so I bought a used 14060M Non COSC. The submariner is a great choice by the way, such a classic. Goodluck. |

Preowned Rolex is practically FREE.... You can almost immediately dispose it for the same amount you paid. Just be careful buying online(e.g. eBay), you maybe buying fakes.. Get some knowledge on how to differentiate authentics vs replicas
