Let's see, I have two grails I'll put in the attainable someday category (or so I think):
  1. Rolex YGDD/w white roman dial
  2. Patek Philippe Calatrava 5119R

And never going to happen unless I win the lottery:
  1. Patek Philippe Calatrava Perpetual Calendar 5140G

What a stunning watch! Never seen it before. Thanks for mentioning

I have two Rolex grails and one ultimate.

One like what Ken just got...
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=185853

And the other pure Rolex, 3,6,9 sub.

I'd love to have them, but don't see it happening...

My ultimate grail is NOT a Rolex, but Panerai/Angelus!

None of these pics are mine, just found them on the web.

I think I'm drifting away from the entire grail concept. For years my GRAIL was a Sub Date, but I've found that my tastes have changed a bit, and this has opened my mind to a variety of watches. In my hunt for that one nice daily wearer I have a list of top contenders that I wouldn't call grails, but I'd be super happy to own any one of them. There really isn't that one watch that I've just got to have anymore.
Weird, huh?

Wow. Is that from the Marine series? I always thought the Marine Big Date was a stunner, and that model looks awfully nice, too!

Grails... They keep changing because you end up buying it one day then you want something rarer and better

My unattainable grail would be a Ulysse Nardin Tellurium J Kepler in yellow gold. Has a bunch of astronomical complication, 43mm diameter, etc.
If I ever have 116k to blow on a watch, that would be it.

No fair!! lol

As I learn more on this forum.. the more I want..

When I started, it was just to be able to afford one.
Then as I worked more I learnt about other Rolex.. it was a Daytona..
Next I learnt about vintage and got the Red Sub..

Just keeps getting out of hand!

There is no grails. When you get one, you get a new grail.
