Tell her that she shouldn't go outside with her watch on..

The Temps in Vegas were 105 f. degrees today.. That's a degree or so hottter than a hot tub gets...

All diver watches undergo tests that on temps of 40 to 50c. That woman should just stop talking and stay pretty :)

This is completely absurd! Of course an 8000 dollar 300m rated dive watch is not going to survive in 2 feet of water 5.5 degrees warmer then the human body its resting on.

But my AD says it's not safe to joke with a rolex on. Too much laughter will destroy the watch's insides.

I don't think WE could survive that

I remember in Saudi, the days would be 120, nights maybe down to 80 or so, and we'd go to sleep wearing all our clothes and wrapped up in sleeping bags. Wake up sweating again. Fun.

Please don't tell my sub or my GMT IIc they aren't waterproof in the jacuzzi because they don't know any better.

That's all BS! I can't believe these guys/gals sell Rolex and say these types of things. You think they'd be thoroughly trained to sell these things. These aren't G-Schocks we are talking here. For instance, at a fancy chophouse, they know exactly what wine/etc will go best with your meal, they are professionals of their craft. You would think the same thing would apply when selling Rolex. WRONG.

I'm going to Vegas in October, and I can't wait to drool over some of these watch shops in the area. However, only way I'll buy there is if I catch a "heater" on the slots or Black Jack. lol

I'd go with the gold Submariner! Okay, a gold Daytona would be alright too, but that Sub would be amazing!!

Ummmmmm... Yea... About solid thermal expansion... Yea... 904L and 18k is not that soft!... But! Sounds like her head is!

Just make sure you check the gaskets over time if you go into water a lot.

THe sub was amazing, and noticeably heavier than the daytona, which is a plus!

While we are on the subject of AD's that dont know what they are talking about. Funny thing I forgot to mention! I had a gentle man come in to our place of business looking to purchase a product... I start to look up the mfg. item on my comp when he looked down and saw me wearing my 14060m... He asked me if I was wearing a rolex? And I told him it was a fake (I tell all non WIS's that)! Then he tells me "Yup, I know! thats what I thought! I can spot a fake anywhere" He knew it was a fake because he claims to have worked for "Rolex"... So, I had to be an A****** and have a little fun with him! I told him if he really did use to work for "Rolex" he would know that I was wearing a REAL 904L stainless steel case with 316 L bracelet D serial 14060M No date Submariner with 3130 movement and that I am a collector of ONLY REAL watches... He had no idea what I was talking about.... Hahaha! He didnt have anything to say after that, just got off the watch subject completely! Then he left... Hmmmm... Wonder if he real worked for Rolex? NOT!
