Ha! I was hoping somebody would mention this one. I almost bought an Emergency not too long ago. The emergency transponder would come in handy. Not bad, for a quartz. Haha

Would it have to fulfill many purposes...or is this just like one favorite watch type question.

If it had to be one watch to use/wear with all kinds of stuff, for me it would be a simple Datejust or perhaps a simple AP Royal Oak on bracelet.

It could be anything you want it to be. If you needed something that was reliable and that you NEEDED(regardless if it actually serves a "real" purpose). If you had to have ONE watch. Whether it's a watch you own, or watch you want, what is THE timepiece you'd take if you had to only choose one.

I'd take a Sea-Dweller all the way. Would make it through war and keep on ticking. If i wound up in a deep sea saturation dive, I'd be alright. If I needed to stop a bullet, well, it does that too.

I guess it is the 16710--it will be very difficult to let the 14060 go. Tough choice.

Even though I love my TT Datejust if I could only own one watch my choice would be a 16610...

Heart goes with 16600, Head goes with Omega Solar Impulse (for practical reasons)...
