I love this combo.

Maybe Rolex will throw the community a bone and bring one out.

Keep the blue on blue for the high rollers who want a WG version and do the blue on black in SS for the rest of us. Bet it would be their number one Sub in sales.

My doctor was wearing one last month - he bought it in Bali - I told him what I thought of it.
I have a pix but would be banned by Stavros if I posted it.

Not into the modern Sub C until I saw the "Shark". Love it !

Too bad Rolex did'nt think of it, I too believe it would be a sales winner.

I agree! Xelor was the first and aptly named it the "The Shark". I chose to have the PCL's so mine would be slightly different than his! I LOVE them either way!

But I would never change the dial to the WG blue as then you would be deep into WG immitation territory which is a little like giving up on the challenge of actually owning one. Also everytime someone asked if that's a WG Sub, you would continually be making your excuses.

I have seen a few SS Daytona's with the WG panda dial and again, for me, its a bit of a cop out even though i can understand why people go for it as its a fantastic dial, I would just rather save for the real thing........just my 2cents
same here! black and blue is ok (though i have not seen a blue dial with black insert) but putting on both the blue is not right IMO! same with the WG Daytona dials... not right!

to gqllc and xelor, congrats on your sharks!!!!! they are damn gorgeous!!!!!

X2. Afraid today there are many wanabee Rolex watches in this world, perhaps this is why Rolex keeps a tight strange hold on getting the parts.

Wow. Just wow. Gorgeous.

So is this doable for anyone willing to purchase the insert?

If you want people to assume you have a fantasy fake Rolex then this is the mod for you

But for those who just don't care what people think, good for you.
