I don't have a Daytona:
But I do have TT watches and SS versions. If you plan to wear it every day, all day - the TT shows it's bruises more readily. The SS can also get beat up, but it takes a little more abuse, and abuse does not show as much If you plan to wear it all the time and you are very active, get SS...If you like the TT version - get 2 of em. (or even 3 ). If you work in an office like JJ, it doesn't matter....how much damage can you do? |

I vote for the TT. That's what I got with Black face. To me, for the price and looks, it beats the SS hands down. From my own perception of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", the SS honestly doesn't do a thing for me. (But that's me.)
I also keep thinking to myself, "Would the SS be THAT popular if it were in steady supply?" I tend to believe not, but I don't really know, of course. Anyone care to comment about this? My black face and gold/SS combi is really very dressy and also sporty too, so it fits all occasions. If I were to get an SS, which is my next Rolex, I wouild opt for a sub or GMT. |
