My faith was rewarded on receipt as I am stunned by the result Michael has achieved, the bracelet is now just perfect for a 34 year old watch.....

And yes I have read the "other" thread and was suprised by the story so far, although I was quite disturbed to see that although the band was considered a complete POS it was good enough to sell, and looked good in the sales post too!

Anyhoo, before and after piccies, a difference of 15mm.....now I need some spare links
Amazing job....

Nice results there.

However, on the other post, just because the OP considered the replacement a "complete POS", what's wrong with selling it, particularly if there were no misrepresentations or deceptions and the buyer saw the condition and accepted it as is?

I felt as though there was no resolution from that 'other' thread by the original person posting...I had no trouble believing the story and followed it from the beginning, but then there was a posting about a possible resolution, another posting about the discovery of a sale of the bracelet and then nothing.

For continuity purposes, if someone is going to be called out and criticized, I would have preferred a final status post about the disposition of the bracelet or some workout with Mr. Young.

I am one of those who had an outstanding experience from Michael Young with a Jubilee bracelet back at the end of '06 and that bracelet continues to amaze me everytime I wear it, as it came back looking new. I have answered email inquiries from forum members when they find my original post and ask for references on Michael Young. In no way am I defending the nasty aspects of the recent forum post about the bad experience described, but I still have good memories and would not hesitate to send off another bracelet for rejuvination if the opportunity arises.

X2

Although a final post on the results would have been in order.

He did a nice job on your band, congratulation!

I'm wondering why Michael Young seem to be the only person on earth who is able to provide that kind of service. I guess there are a lot of people who would love to refresh their oyster, this should be a service available in all ADs :)!

You would think, wouldn't you or at least someone here in the US so we wouldn't need to send a band to Hong Kong, jeeesh.
