According to advice the white dial is a 'matt' white dial. Is that correct? I find it difficult to tell.

no, it's even very glossy
But I took these pics in the shadow because direct sunlight alsways messes up the pics

Those photos show the correct proportionality of hand/dial.

Make sure you understand why the white EXII42 got the proportionality right.

As for the black dial EXII42 some may say it is compromised.

If I tried 10000 times, I could not get any single photo as fantastic as these.

It does look like the Chromalight lume is applied a bit sloppily in the mercedes of the hour hand?

Nice pics. if it was 40mm I would be all over one.I sold my EXP11 in anticipation of getting the new one and got blindsided by the 42mm.Again great shots love the lume shot.
