for me, somewhere between five and seven is my goal before 40, after that I'll retire and the sky's the limit!

I'm good with a diver and a GMT in the Rolex line. There are many great watches out there. I try to keep my collection to four or five, but it seemed to have bloomed to eight.

The perfect number of Rolex watches is what you decide to have !!!
So don't bother asking yourself, just do it and "Rolex carpe diem"

Yes you are sick. You have a somewhat rare disease called rolexitis and there is no known cure.

The symptoms are eased but only temporarily by purchasing another Rolex watch.

When you have one more than you can afford, you have too many.

I think three will do it for me.

I think as many as you will wear and truly enjoy. IMHO a well rounded selection is the key to a nice collection. A watch for every occasion is nice to have. The same watch like sub collection would not be my preference but it makes an awesome picture.

IMO you have too many when you have Rolexs you don't wear at all. That's just a waste IMO.
