the only one I've seen here in Dublin (outside the AD) turned out to be a fake!
Interestingly 90% of the customers of the Dublin AD are overseas (mainly asia) |

Before tonight, I'd have said no, but I'm at the Gaylord convention center outside of DC and saw a PAM base model at the table next to me a lunch.

Twice. I was shocked both times. I had to take a double take. Both times were on a Dive boat in Bonaire.

Standing on the Tube every morning, heading to Bank I always have a look to see if I recognise any watches. Only once in 9 months have I seen a PAM. I see Omegas daily and Rolexes at least every other day. I honestly saw a chap with a black ceramic, diamond dialled Rado the other morning, yuck.

+1 in my neck of the woods.
I was having some additional Tattoo work done yesterday, and there was a guy wearing a 316 in the shop. We chatted briefly about watches while I was being needled. I see them at the Sushi bar almost every time I am there. |

I've seen quite a few in Stockholm but how many are real I cannot say. I suspect quite a few are fakes as Thailand is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Swedes...

I had one guy come up to me while i was waiting outside the movie theater. At first i noticed this stranger walk by once, then again, and on the 3rd pass he stopped and said, "Nice PAM." At that point he lifted his shirt cuff, displayed his PAM, and proudly told me his story of how he acquired it.

I see quite a few, I'd say about 1 per month on average. I travel a lot though, so it it not too uncommon to see business people with nice timepieces at the airport or on a plane.

Very rare, actually, and I live in a highly populated area. Only a few that I can remember--the last one on an elevator in Vegas. The guy had NO IDEA what model he was wearing and knew NOTHING about the watch.

I have never seen one in the wild and I always notice watches. I live in Denver but travel quite a bit. I see tons of Subs everywhere I go, and I am also the proud owner of a Sub w/date, but the sub has seen almost no wrist time since my 104 arrived. I'm up to 12 straps now and love changing the look to match my outfit. I will also add that my Rolex always got compliments but no one looks twice at my PAM....I like that.

I second the on the plane comment, I travel quite a bit for business and see two or three a year. Had a flight attendant point out mine on a flight recentely and make quite a big deal about it which made me a bit uncomfortable.

I regularly see Pam's in bigger cities like NYC, Chicago and LA- and also in Toronto, but they are almost always worn by younger high income financial sector guys. And they notice my 312 quite often- I have had at least 5 Pam wearers stop and ask me about my 312 and show theirs to me

I haven't seen anyone up by me. I do see a LOT of submariners. That sort of sealed the deal for me when I was looking for my watch. I didn't want to be part of the herd. (though I wouldn't mind owning the new larger Explorer 2).

Think I saw a boutique edition on a guy in a bookshop in Penang last week. Wanted to get a closer look but thought better of it...

I'm surprised I don't see more of them here in Nashville. I've seen a few, though, despite not having an AD nearby.
In the sea of two-tone Subs it's nice to stand out with something different. |
