Pictures vs. Real Life

I can recall contributing to a thread earlier in the year about comparing the GMTIIc with the TT Blue Sub. Personally, I thought that the Sub looked better in pictures, but the GMT looked better in person.
I tried on a full YG Blue Sub at my AD the other day and was completely blown away! It was like putting on a portable nuclear bomb - MAN did that thing shine! However... I have never seen a full gold Daytona with the blue dial except in pictures, and boy are the pictures crappy. They all look washed out and DULL.
Does anyone here have any experience with the full YG Blue Daytona and could comment? Even better would be some comments on a comparison of the two.
The girl I bought the SS Black Daytona (and a 3 Carat Diamond) for? She offered to buy me the YG Blue Sub right there on the spot!! I politely declined. At least until I can get some more info on the Daytona.
