An Air-King is 34mm and the Datejust is 36mm. I initially got the significant other the Air King, but the DJ with the fluted gold bezel and jubilee bracelet is just is IT for her. She is tiny and it fits with all the removable links removed. For me and my girlfriend the smaller watches just seem dated.

Change of idea. We went to a dealer to try all three sizes on. I have absolutely no doubts that the ladies size, the 29mm, is the only one that women should wear. I suppose the answer is obvious and is in fact in the title, ladies watch.
Its classy and smart but in my opinion should only be worn with a sun tan. It really is a mediterranean watch for mediterranean's. |

It is difficult to add a suggestion to the excellent and in-good-taste ones already shared here in this thread. I was in this position only few months ago, and the model chosen by her was.......14060......yes, the ND Sub. Although that she is neither too outdoorsy nor overly involved in physical activities, the ND Sub was chosen given the watch's style and size. Enjoy in good health.
