Is this really what TRF is about?

Greetings TRF,

My apologies for the somewhat strange title but I do have to share a little something with you. Not so long ago a friend of ours, Adam De Rocco, bought himself a great Montblanc pen and we jokingly started to talk about him writing me a Christmas letter with it. Well, the joke went to the point where he decided to actually do it and I received his card today!

Now, I was expecting it a little bit (although a part of me was still surprised that Adam took the time to write a nice letter to me) but I truly didn't expect that little gift inside! Indeed, Adam and I share the same interest for blues music and Eric Clapton's work and I find it very nice of him to send me this!

It is currently being exposed along with that small poster I received with my Clapton album.

And here's a "group" shot with a "supposed to be" montage...I need some practice!

Now, is this really what TRF is about? I very much believe so! Perhaps some people will think I'm making a big deal out of a "simple card" but I do believe it is a great gesture of consideration and friendship from a fellow who has been very nice to me and with whom I shared great conversations about music, watches and pens (not to mention the funny things we say to each other).

And with this, I shall finish my little speech: Adam, my friend, thank you for this little but appreciated attention!
