If modern, I'd go with a 14060M for the beater role, and a gently pre-loved gold Daytona (yellow or white, according to one's preference) on a strap for those more sartorially stylish days.

I'd do two watches the following way:
SS DJ siver dial jub bracelet for say $5500, then take the rest and make a downpayment on a YG daytona for dressier occasions and the jeans and informal. YG is great for chillin. the SS can be worn when around where YG would be brash, and pay pmts for three months. If I had the 20, that's what Id do. I think it's worth considering a precious metal model with that much cashola. |

Depending on your preference of gold (yellow, white, rose, etc), I would buy a WG SubC or YG GMTc for dressy occasions and either a SubC or DJII for daily wear. Will not even consider Daytona because it has no date. My 2c.

Your have tastes very similar to mine - you have good taste, IMO.
While the SS Daytona is my grail/fav; in your situation and budget, the GMT2Cand the DJ2 would cover your bases nicely - especially if the JJ were TT. I know I'll catch heat for that one but it would truly cover all of your bases nicely. With that said, a Daytona and a GMT2C would be more than fine.

I'd take a LNIB SS Ceramic GMT and a new SS Daytona (white dial) and keep the change. Good luck with your choice!

Platinum/SS YachtMaster + GMT II Pepsi (with black LN insert on the side). In my opinion that's all you need but if you buy them used you could also get a 36mm DateJust which would be IMO the perfect 3 for under 20k

I would say a new 14060m around $5k and a slightly used day-date around $10 to $15k! Just my two cents.

for me its def the gmt2c and Daytona. You will cover all bases with these 2 watches. Not to mention GMT, Chronograph, and date features.

I vote for sub C and Datejust 2. You will find that the sub c will suit you well for almost all occasions but it is good to have the dress option

Sub C and DJ II should cover it, unless you specifically want two 'sport' models

My choice would be a 16610 & a 36mm Gold DJ. All bases are covered with $$$ to spare.

I think a DJ and a Sub are good choices to start with.
I'll leave it up to you to choose the particulars.
