Well, I'm gonna go with what I want (and Rolex will never make).
Rolex used to make some really cool cushion cased watches. (think Panerai Radiomirs). I think they started them, or where one of the first ever. I think it would be cool if they would bring back the strap watches.

Needs sprucing up - it's a 20 year old design, and is losing out in terms of performance compared to some of its rivals now. Same kind of thing as with the old-style bracelets. As for changes, I want Rolex to wow me - perhaps a new technical innovation, longer power reserves, more robust winding system. Something to remind everyone what Rolex is capable of, and making it more accessible than their last all-new movement the cal. 4160 in the Yacht-Master II. It's about time for an update, in my opinion

Maybe a dumb question, but what size is the GMT case now. I was of the assumption that it was already at 42mm. Of course, I am a Sub man and got my info from my neighbor who is not a Wis, although he has a GMTIc Tt.

I love rumors! I also heard Rolex will be introducing a day-date III47mm and a 44mm leopard Daytona!

It's too soon, they just did updates on this watch.
Besides 40mm is great size anyway it doesn't need to be any larger.

My only guess as one never knows with Rolex is that they expand use of RG in sports models. Perhaps a GMT with RG?? Always fun and look forward to the future!

If we are dreaming here then my vote is for a Pepsi GMTIIc...I prefer the current 40mm version, but would pick it up in 42mm if that was the only size offered.
An updated YM 1 would also be great. |
