aint posted in a while and all i can say is wow , cracking watch you have there , just need a little bit of tlc ,
listn to steelerfan65 he knows what he is talking about movement overhaul , crystal if it needs it , gaskets, crown / tube , any movememnt gearing and ask mr bob master watchmaker man to keep all the bits that he changed out , maybe a service insert but keep the old one if you fancy the old rugged used look, leave the case unpolished as is as its perfect and shouldn't look new all i can say those dial and hands have aged and held up superbly with little or no damage at all over the yrs good luck in your decision and hope to see it cleaned up and on your wrist soon get a nice solid link bracelet and im sure it will be of service for another 50+ yrs a nice dilema too have kindest rgds Alan |
