Steve (Lol-x) told me if I don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all. Sorry Dalip but none of those would be my choice, however, good luck with whatever you decide to get!

I prefer the DateJust, but with the smooth bezel.

My response has nothing to do with the obvious bias of being here on TRF. It does however have everything to do with the obvious fact that there is simply no comparrison here. That DJII looks so good it's ridiculous. After seeing it here, it may now gon on my list! Which is funny because at one point many years back, I had a typical 36mm DJ w/ a blue dial.

If he gets any more AP's, we'll have to move him to a different forum!!

Tough one Dalip, I did not vote, but that is the first DJII I've seen that I actually like. Either way, I know you will enjoy either one. Cheers.

It took me a while to warm up to it to be honest.

The ratio is very close. One bad move and he is out of here!

Hahahaha!!thanks everyone. I have to say the blue of the DJ II dial is special.... Very different from the blue roman... Not sure why that is.

Anyway... Your assistance in this decision is greatly appreciated.

As for that PP.... I think I'll be single if I did that right now :)

I don`t get the AP brand and the style leaves me shaking my head.

DJ II all day every day and twice on Sunday if I have to choose.

if the other option was a 36mm dj with a jubilee bracelet i'd hesitate more but between the above two i'd pick the ap.

I'd love to compare notes. 5130P is on the very short list, 5960P, 5070P, 5970R, ALS RL Pour le merite, are all on the long list.

Dalip, what you need as that fine AP RO mate

it'll complement all your other great watches and you'll also inject some nice Genta design into your collection

personally not a fan of the DJII with the fluted bezel, too loud and shiny.

i do love the dial on the DJII, though...

i bet Google Earth could pick up the sparkly DJII bezel in Perth on a sunny day

Thanks again for your thoughts all:)

Anders...I'd be causing accidents down the freeway for sure with the sun hitting that bezel!!

Dalip, might be a good idea to wait a month to see what Basel brings if you are considering another Rolex
