Why don't you do a proper test give your watch a full wind first to start 40 full crown turns clockwise only don't worry you cannot over wind it.Then set time with a reliable source for this test a quartz watch will do. I will do it. This is really a sound advice. I never thought of doing it with a quartz. I been depending on time.gov

A quartz would be better as there may be lag from time.gov and differences from computer to computer depending on network load etc.

Some talk about a "breaking in period" of about 2 weeks. Wear it every day for 8 hours plus each day and do the test in 3 or 4 weeks time.
