Fluted bezel > smooth bezel
I thought I'd like the jubilee bracelet, but it just seemed a little feminine when I tried one on for the first time recently. I'll have to try again and see if my opinion changes, as they do look great in pics!

This is a little embarrassing since I started this thread -- but I have a question about the picture of the 116200 Datejust in my initial post.
I found this picture on the forums and believe it to be the model 116200 due to the polished center links. But I'm not 100 percent sure now because the lugs look a little trimmer than in other pictures of the 116200 that I've seen. I really like the look of this watch, however, and if someone can confirm that this is, in fact, a model 116200, I would appreciate it. Thanks! John |

I went with the 116234 jubilee. The fluted bezel and jubilee combo is a classic. I chose the blue, stick dial, with which I'm quite happy.
As others have said though, you can't go wrong with either. |

The 116234 for me, though I do like the 116200 as well.

Thanks to you all for the input on this thread -- and to your great looking Datejusts!
Thanks especially to Anders (acce1999) for letting me know about the upcoming 116300, the updated 41mm version of the 116200. Here's a link to more information for those interested: http://precisiontime.blogspot.com/20...ef-116300.html Tough call for me. With a 6.75" wrist, 36mm is a little small, but 41mm is pretty darn big. Tough to please, I know. ;-) John |
