I really think this would help greatly.

This will help you get a better idea.

I would also start doing some research, this would also help.

Start looking online and check out some reviews. Although most of these reviews are a bit opinionated it will give you a better idea as to what you are actually looking at.

For me at least this is part of the fun, and besides with something as expensive as these are it is worth the effort at least to me.

Remember if you ask for a comparison between a PP and a AP in the PP forum your more than likely to hear PP. Try it in a AP forum you'll hear AP for the most part.

Nothing wrong with this, it's just that these people have already made up their minds. Problem is this is going to be your watch.

Personally I think both are great, it's just they are both way different. Possibly you'll own both in the future, but for different reasons.

I like the idea of changing to 18mm buckle.

I'm leaning toward the Volcano at the beginning. But, considering what "branigan" was saying regarding the buckle, it's back to 50:50 now

I have owned many AP's over the years and again never an issue with any strap. If you choose to wear any strap too tight it will be irritating. So go try some on and get a true feel for what you like.

Guys, don't let my picture dissuade you from getting the ROO. I snapped the pic after sleeping with it on. During normal wear it's not so evident.

I was pretty confident this was not the norm Mike.

However you really should stop posting that thing especially when we have new members reading these threads.

At least include a disclaimer.

Disclaimer will helps!

Frankly, every watch I wear to bed leave some slight mark every time I wake up (even with rubber strap). I am sure that in this case, it's the AP wording on the clasp that makes it look more serious that it actually is. (The other reason is that we don't have PP wording clasp)

Seems like the next logical choice to me.

On the emotional level I would think it might fill a void as well.

AP ROO > Aquanaut

AP ROO > Nautilus = hard choice.

True. I'll try them both before deciding. But sometimes, trying for a couple of minutes in an AD can't give the real feel of the watch until we actually wear it, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, thanks for the inputs.
