I'm sure he doesn't sing...he gets shot though running for the train...great POV.

Don Knotts...I always confuse him with Don Adams from Get Smart...great show.

Don Knotts...I last saw in Pleasantville...I love that movie...I may pull the dvd tonight and rewatch. (a case of a great modern movie that stands up against the classics).

AMC every sunday seems to have one of his cowboy movies on! 44 movies, 33 westerns.

EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audie_Murphy

Both the U.S. Medal of Honor and the French Legion of Honor.
Good one, Paulie.....can never forget his real-life performance in To Hell and Back!!

Only forget the cropped to fit on TV version. Must be seen in it's wide screen glory!!!

I'm a Margaret O'Brien fan, and even though Judy Garland is in this movie as well, "Meet me in St. Louis" should be left in "St. Louie..."

How about another huge favorite of mine: "Here Comes Mr. Jordan"

Bring on some of those oldies!!
I totally agree....best western ever made.

Those "cheap" Italian westerns made in the '60s.....now considered classics, but severely criticised in those days!!
