WOW I love all of the 1655's posted they are truly great pieces. I will hopefully be adding one to my collection one day, it has always been one of my favorite watches =)

I never thought to try a light-tan suede strap. That's a great combo.

I bought all the orange/black/grey combos on Amazon, and don't really ever feel like it looks that great. Something about a $10 strap on a $15K watch seems wrong. ::: just my opinion :::

I think the leathers are uber-cool though.

I have never thought to try this. But I have to say, the 1655, with its steel bezel and orange hand has the most unique and interesting look of any Rolex that I've seen on a NATO or leather strap. Great idea!
