not a fan of the aesthetics
but it raised the bar for dumb thieves rubbing off S/N's from between the lugs.

Don't care for it. Convenient for checking serial # but we know it's a Rolex without it being written all around the inside.

Are you a fan? I do love the little touch. I don't think it is a deal breaker after vintage pieces too.
I don't like it at all. It reminds me of the garish LV branding on all the made in China Louis Vuitton bags.

I prefer to have non-engraved rehaut

This was recently discussed here

I can take it or leave it. I actually like looking down to see it, but when I'm wearing one without it, I don't miss it. Talk about a lot of words to say nothing...

I like them, a little decorative effect and subtle enough that I don't notice it every time I look at the watch.

Doesn't really matter to me, however, if it came down to me purchasing a model that had the engraved rehaut vs. one that did not, I am choosing the engraved rehaut version 100% of the time!

Doesn't bother me either way.

It is convenient for displaying the serial number, especially for people like me who don't take off the bracelet.

I also think a benefit of engraving "Rolex" around the circumference is that it makes it more difficult for counterfeiters to replicate.

I like it. Only plan on owning 2 or 3 that don't have engraved rehaut.

I like it

It's more subtle IRL than in large photos posted online, and the ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX... is something for the counterfeiters to struggle with...

I only just realised it had (and looked at) the engraving on my M series Daytona

It's not that noticable, unless you look for it
