When i think about the DJ i think JUBILEE bracelet and Fluted Bezel. The materials and dials are upon personal prefrences. But the black mark dial is very verastile.

Can be a bit difficult to read in certain low lighting, then when it gets pitch dark it is easy to read again because the lume is amazing !

Sweet dial. I like the two-tone feel. You get the best of both worlds.

Re: datejust 36mm. One classic, the SS/WG w/ fluted bezel....silver dial, stick markers, jubilee bracelet.....or white dial.
Another classic 36mm DJ.......dome bezel, oyster bracelet (brush the PCL's out) white or silver dial, stick markers. 2 watches that will never lose their panache & style.

Rhodium (silver) dial with Roman numerals, smooth bezel, and oyster bracelet all the way!! Thats been my everyday for the last 9 years. Recently started switching it out onto different NATO bands to give it a sportier/dressed down look when I'm going casual. I'm actually going to be posting it for sale as I'm now hooked on vintage subs lol

DJJon's. TT, champaign dial, stick.
Keep in mind non-lume hands, especially on a dark dial, become very difficult to see in very low light. |

I prefer light coloured faces for DJ/dress watches and dark faces for sports/tools. Can't go past a silver, white, champagne or mop for that classy look

I was initially going to get a black dial, but after trying on silver...I went with it.
I say go to a few ADs and try a few on. I'm only 27, but when I'm older...I'll probably get a TT Champagne dial like Rickk! |
