Love it, the strap is very nice. I traded my ExII towards a DD & couldnt be happier. The bracelet is a big part of the deal, but they do wear out, likely why yours is on a strap.
As mentioned above, I did notice one on For Sale section. Might be worth a look if you really want one b/c new they are quite expensive

Hi All,

I would love the bracelet, but I am also very happy with the Rolex Croc Strap. I know part of the whole reason why this watch was branded the president was because of the bracelet, so I guess i might have a vice president!!! And to DrLindaPhd, I hope you find one with your size preference as I think you will like this dark dialed version on croc strap. To everyone else thank you for your compliments much appreciated, the rolex presentation box has me baffled? Is this not the correct box for this model? Please advise.

Regards,

Andrew.

I fully agree with your opinion about the DD and DJ being classy and elegant. Since I currently own a TT DJ with a super jubilee bracelet, I would really love an 18k DJ or DD on a tan leather band. Then I would be done!

I love your watch, a work of art. Enjoy it.

Hi All,

Turbowatch, are you able to tell me how this is an aftermarket dial? I would greatly appreciate this. Cheers.

Yep, a real stunning piece there. I had a 18k DJ on a strap and it looked gorgeous. If it would have been 39/40mm, I would have kept it forever.

Congrats!
Definitely a keeper! I've owned quite a few day-dates and it seems I always get rid of them.
Then a week later, I'm in the market for one!

Awesome piece, Enjoy!

When I look at Rolex, I see class, style and elegance. My personal opinion is the Day-Date and Datejust combines all those three perfectly. I have nothing against the tool watches (Subs, Daytona etc..) but would you not agree that a Day-Date or Datejust on bracelet or perhaps croc strap with gold buckle just oozes class?

It was a hard decision for me because admittedly all Rolex range of watches are a work of art, but for me this watch sang to me like no other!!! Tell me what you guy's and girl's think, it would be much appreciated..
Congrats to yours D.D Regards Paradis

Positively handsome on the genuine Rolex strap.

Tech Point: I see the Rollie strap has enough padding to fill the space fully between the spring bar and the case. Could this mean it was drilled for a strap when it left the factory? I know Datejust cases can be drilled differently when sent from the factory with a leather strap on Day One. This is the issue that is addressed with the famous Etur End Pieces to use a strap with a bracelet-drilled DJ case.

Today DayDates only come with gold bracelets (Oyster and President, I can't imagine taking delivery with the Oyster option) but it is always possible that back in the day, when 1803's were made, that a leather strap option might have existed.

If you ever contemplate a change, be 100% certain a President bracelet fits before investing.

Enjoy and wear it in good health !

Hi Everyone,

I finally got the Day-Date watch yesterday, it has arrived with the original box (now I know what some of you guy's were on about :)) but it has been given a slightly different dial compared to the original pictures I had posted at the beginning. Im yet to make up my mind if I like the changed dial, my supplier (who by the way are superb people :)) have said they can change the dial back to the original if required, it is a long story but it is an option. I would like to ask for your guy's and girl's opinions once more as I value your input, I know at the end of the day it is what matters to me that counts but hearing other's opinions is encouraged as this is what the forum is designed for amongst other things. Here are the new pictures -
