I like Sarkozy - he's second only to Le Pen in my view. Kudos to him for refusing to answer questions about his wife - Nosy 60 minute reporters. It's good that the US has a friend in France now.

Maybe I'll wear my watch over my cuff today in his honor

Mike, agree in the Golden Rule of course. What I am trying to say is I wish all religions would follow it, as I have been in many places, as I stated, where I was on the direct end of attack from Religions that did not follow it, or wanted to force one's beliefs into comprimising or accepting all faiths as equal and abandoning one's Faith. For example as a Christian, I could never accept the Pagan belief system or tolerate those beliefs impacted upon my belief system.

I will agree with you though, lets get back to taking about watches.

The French President recently walked out during the middle of an interview with "60 Minutes."

Something upset him, but not sure what.

Now that he makes more money in one day giving speeches than he did in a whole year as President of the United States, he's not ashamed anymore. Clinton often wears a Panerai.

Both.....(You mean all three) Ah...not to hijack the thread again but....which ones?
Pagans? No. not one God anyway.
Buddhists? No. it is a non-theist set of teachings. Although some individuals believe in a supreme being.
Unitarians. More accurately Unitarian Universalists. (that's what I am) Some do, some don't. I don't.

You could go somewhere else to talk about these religious concepts.
Let's get back to watches, ok?

After closely looking at Sarkozy's pictures looks like he has 2 Daytonas, one with a white dial, one with a black dial. My kind of guy ;)

Well, Sarkozy is the one person that does not exactly add to the brand image.

"President Nicolas Sarkozy's uninhibited love of the trappings of wealth is revolutionising
French attitudes in a country where flaunting money and success are traditionally taboo".

Oh well, if I was 4.9" tall ..or there abouts - I would also do my best to deviate attention.

Apparently Nicolas Sarkozy no longer wears Rolex because his wife told him it was not cool for a French President so instead I understand he now wears Cartier

Note this thread is about 4 years old
