hey I got the work done from time4diamonds London. it's a top quality work done on it. It's not a Rolex bezel. Don't think Rolex would sell the bezel on its own? I only got the bezel done so if I wanted I can restore it with its original ceramic which I still have.

I saw that exact same bezel on a Rolex in the Rolex store at Harrod's in London.

Pepsi is lovely no question....but your changes constitute a clear departure from the GMT the "tool" to the GMT the "jewelery". This departure will have serious ramification on the usability of the watch as originally intended. MY GMT is being continuously used in field work overseas in which the proposed changes would be impossible to consider (to say the least). Hastily added, however, the changes are done consistent with the original color schemes that part nicely with the known Pepsi flavor.

PS. The changes also increase the chances of the watch being confiscated by your wife/partner. I am still resisting with this model, but already lost a 14060 to my wife in a previous parry--so be ready. Enjoy in good health.

Was it just the bezel or were the shoulders also encrusted that you saw in harrods?

I first saw this bezel in Dubai mall. Was blown away :-)

It was just the bezel.

I saw the same jeweled bezel with the shoulders encrusted in diamonds in the Rolex display at St Andrews at the Open Championship in 2010.

They also had a copper model on display, although I don't know if that was produced for sale.

Wow. May have been customized by the same company. I know they customize celeb watches.

Did you catch the price it was on for?

Personally the shoulders for me takes it over the top. I wouldn't be able to wear it at work.

Both watches were brand new, in official Rolex displays. Unless Rolex subs out that type of jewel work (which I would highly doubt) the two watches would have been done by rolex.

The jeweled bezel watch, that was identical to yours was for sale at Harrods. There was a price, however I don't remember what it was. I remember thinking that it was around $50,000USD when converted from pounds.

I remember thinking it was a stunning watch, and what I liked about it was that you had to look closely to notice that it was stones versus the standard bezel. You my friend, own a fantastic time piece.

The watch with the diamond shoulders was in a display area that was set up by Rolex at the 2010 Open Championship in St Andrews Scotland. My wife and I were there to watch some of the tournament. Rolex is the official sponsor of The Open. The Rolex watch display did not have any prices and the watches were not for sale.

There were "Rolexes" all over the golf course.

I don't think they for sale. But i do see ex Rolex dealer wall clocks on eBay here and there. They go for a bomb like £400. But they would look classy on my wall
